Color it Green!

Hi! It's the second Tuesday of March and time for the Magnolia-licious Color Challenge. Today's challenge is issued by Angie, and here is her challenge color. Could there be any better color for this month?

Check out the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog for the Design Team's creations and the prize offered by Diana, owner of Magnolia-licious.

Here is my challenge creation.

This is an easel card which features #221 Ribbon Hair Tilda at Magnolia-licious. She is part of the "You Are So Special" 2011 collection. The entire collection can be seen HERE. She is sitting on #517 Old Bench.
I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the bench.

Here is a side view.
I used 2 metal brad strips from Karen Foster to hold the ribbon and the easel in place. They were bright orange so I buffed off some of the color to tone them down a bit. Scrap Our Stash has challenged their readers to use a forgotten product or tool in their 'Dust It Off Challenge', so I decided to accept the challenge and use the brad strips I have had for several years.

Here is the easel part of the card.
Here are some close-ups of the image. Isn't she delightful with that sassy red hair and the bows? How about the pearl necklace and earrings? She looks like she is ready for a wedding. I really like her green shoes!

I like how the rose leaves turned out. I wanted them to have tips that were tinged with red and burgundy.
What do you think about them?

Linda, this is just too too cute. You've made this Tilda so adorable that I am so regretting that I didn't get her. And you've even dressed her up with real pearl necklace and matching earrings--just brilliant. Love your colour scheme--your DP's are gorgeous. Your rose and the leaves look great! And you've made this an easel card to boot! I adore this.
Take care of yourself!

Warm hugs,
Norma
