Anika from Holland

Today I want to share 'Anika from Holland', one of  the images from Your Next Stamp 'World Kids Collection'. I created her for the YNS Challenge #36 on paper piecing. Paper piecing is one of my favorite ways to use stamps with designer paper, and using Copic markers along with the paper piecing is a fun way to decorate a project. The majority of the YNS image is colored with Copic markers; the only paper piecing is her shoes. I used the yellow distressed Basic Grey paper for her shoes since it had marks in it to resemble wood. I shaded her shoes with Copic markers for dimension. Details of the card can be seen HERE.

Here is a picture of Your Next Stamp's 'World Kids Collection'. They can be purchased as singles or as a collection HERE.

Be sure to check out YNS's Starlets' paper piecing designs. They can be seen HERE along with the details of YNS Challenge #36. We hope you decide to participate in the challenge. We love to see your creations, and you might win a prize! Who doesn't love prizes?

Speaking of prizes... I am entering this card in the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge #15 for square cards.
You can see the challenge HERE.

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate that you take the time to look at and read my blog! Have a great day! LC
