Christmas Countdown at Whimsie Doodles

Seems like everybody is counting down to something. Of course, right now it is Christmas. Kids can tell you how many days, hours, minutes until Old St. Nick arrives. I can remember watching tv on Christmas Eve with Griffin when he was young, and the weatherman would announce that Santa had been spotted by radar. His eyes would light up! Those were magical times!

Now the 'Christmas Countdown' is at Whimsie Doodles. Doodle-licious Diva Alicia has issued the Whimsie Wednesday Challenge (#61) on the Whimsie Doodles Blog. You can find specific details about the challenge HERE.

Here is the 'Christmas Countdown':
On your card or project you are challenged to have:
5 Accents (brads, eyelets, buttons, etc.)
          4 Papers
3 Shapes (can be 3 of the same or 3 different)
2 Corners (can be rounded or fancy)
          1 Image

Here is my challenge card:

I have 5 buttons, 3 designer papers and 1 cardstock, 3 snowflakes, 2 fancy corners, and 1 image.
I used Whimsie Doodles Leah in PJ's  for my image. Isn't she adorable in her fancy sleepwear?

Recipe for my card:
Whimsie Doodles Leah in PJ's
Papertrey Ink white cardstock for image
Copic markers
Glossy Accents
Bazzill cardstock
K&Co. Christmas stack
Spellbinder Nestabilities snowflake dies
Bazzill rhinestones
Buttons from stash
Martha Stewart baker's twine
Sizzix corner die

We are looking forward to what you will create for this 'Countdown' challenge. I found this challenge to be fun and interesting; I had a good time deciding what to use for the numbers. Be sure to link your creation to the Whimsie Doodles Blog for a chance to win a prize.

Thanks for dropping by. Stay warm, drive safely, and remember the meaning of CHRISTmas. LC
