Leftovers and Scraps

Good Morning! Did you change your clocks? Luckily for me, Mike took care of that at our house.

You might remember back in mid-October I shared some 'Happy Harvest' cards I made using Papertrey Ink's Vintage Picnic Basket stamp set. In that post I shared with you my inspiration for those cards. You can read about them HERE.

This week as I was sifting through scraps of paper attempting to clean off my desk, I came across several of the picnic basket images I had prepared for the cards. This is what I decided to make with the leftovers....a  mini journal.

I covered a small notebook with scraps of paper and added one of the card fronts I had made. I sprayed a clothespin with Glimmer Mist and adhered paper to it. The ribbon was some I had sprayed with Glimmer Mist for the cards. I added a button with baker's twine to the clothespin. Easy peasy! I thought this made a great little notebook for jotting down blessings, thoughts, and ideas.

Recipe:
Papertrey Ink Vintage Picnic Basket stamp set

October Afternoon dp (on notebook)

Michael's design paper (on basket)

Hope you have a great Sunday and an awesome week! Thanks for stopping by. LC
