Totally Tilda Challenge

There is a new Magnolia Stamp challenge blog called Totally Tilda. Their first challenge is to create a Chocolate Tilda, a Tilda card that features brown and creams. You may add a dash, but only a dash, of another color. There are 2 sponsors for the challenge so there are 2 prizes. Here is the card I created.

I thought this would be a great card to give to a new neighbor or co-worker. We've all had days when our neighborhood or place of employment would qualify for the term 'jungle'. This was a difficult challenge for me since I normally don't use a great deal of brown. I tend to like bright colors and use them frequently. I guess that's why they called this a 'challenge'...it was for me; however, it's important to step out of ones comfort zone and try something different.
Which colors do you use frequently? Which colors would be a challenge for you to use? Give them a try!

Magnolia Stamps can be purchased from Magnolia-licious
and Stamping Scrapping .

Thanks for stopping by!

HI Linda - had to chuckle at your statement, "guess that's why they call it a challenge"! Sometimes I just want to give up because I feel like elastic stretched too far but I'm amazed at the feeling of accomplishment when I'm done. I figure you know what I mean w/all the sbing you do too... now that is challenging to me for sure! eek! lol Your Tilda is wonderful! love your coloring and designing w/the animal prints and sentiment...I hate to say the snake is wonderful!!! lol But it is perfect here except Tilda should be screaming! lol
TFS! p.s. I love brown, I've been accused of using it too much in the past! I know...how mean! lol Most colors are a challenge for me!!!

Love the sentiment!! So glad to see this image I've gone back to scrapbooking and have all the jungle figures and want to use them. Since our vacations always have something to do with hiking. Thanks for inspiring me to get at it. Love the papers too.

This new challenge blog looks like it's going to be a lot of fun! I love your animal prints and how effectively you used them for your Chocolate Tilda. Brown would also be a hard color for me, as I love the softer spring type colors...but this little Tilda is colored beautifully and your card is really gorgeous! Glad you did the challenge and got stretched a little...hugs...Barb
